I Dream Big and Became Executive Director…

I used to live with my mother. After passing 12th standard, I had to start earning and so I came to Nagpur and stayed with my maternal aunt while for a job. Initially, I worked with 3-4 companies, but could not earn more than Rs. 1000 per month, which was insufficient. Then I started working as a Marketing agent on commission basis, but still my income could not go beyond Rs.1200 even after hard work and sincere efforts. In those days, I used to pray to god for an opportunity so that I can earn more and progress in life.
One day during my Marketing job, I met Mr. Vijay Gautam who was a part of the company which was about to start functioning. Initially they had decided to sell the plots from a layout in Nagpur but did not want to employ people due to their innovative thinking and their complete belief in the same so he asked me to come to their office.
After getting the offer I was satisfied at least in one thing that selling small things with lesser value will always give small earning by way of commission but if I sell a high value product my commission will also be bigger. With this thinking and positive frame of mind, I reached their office which was about 100 sq. ft only and later I came to know that even the tables and chairs were not owned by them.
I met Mr. Jitesh Nashine ( chairman) who told me about his Visions, his Dreams and the way to full fill those Dreams. He had chalked out yearly targets for the company, which was starting from scratch. That time it all sounded like day dream, but he had the confidence and conviction about fulfilling his dreams. Frankly I was not impressed then but I thought, I have nothing to lose and if the realized even at 25% I will be earning much more.
So I decided to work for PIEIL. That time I did not own a bicycle and he was telling me to dream about being a Crorepati in 5 years. Thus, on 16th September 2005 I became the 1st advisors of PIEIL and started understanding the system & business plan.
I had decided that I will follow the instructions with full faith without any doubt. I continued without any result for the first 3 months. During this period some other people also joined us but they too could not get results but continued all the same. Incidentally, my first sale of a plot to one Mr. Sindhia was company’s first sale of plot too. Mr. Sindhia showed faith in the company since all the documents were legally correct.
Thus my first commission was Rs. 4800. In 2005 with this sale, the office got better and our other associates were encouraged too! Once the things started rolling, even I started working with more zeal since there followed more sale. The sales started picking up, and so did company’s reputation.
This was when I realized what our Chairman had said in our first meeting. What he said then, was actually happening now and I remembered him telling me to Dream Big.
